I was very surprised to come in 2nd place in my category with a maximum meter of 139.8dbs. HAHAHa No one though i would hit over 130 lol. Whats the deal with Fusion gear? Most of the heavy hitters were running this stuff and were getting high numbers, well not high compared to most of u guys but 144-145 with 10's and 12's. My amp was jacked up all the way so i hope i didnt hurt anything, still sounds nice tho. The air was pretty cool so that could have been effecting things. Any body got any tips they wanna PM to help me out in my next run?

Are you guys sure about that, because if the deck has low voltage outputs turning the gains up will definately help. There is no arbitrary spot that is best, ex 1/4 gain, 1/2 gain etc.Originally posted by the odd one:

Personally I like to set my gains to around 3/4's (sometimes I crank them if im in a hurry).. then control the volume by the deck volume..
(for spl shows that is..
)

Helping out is nice. I remember the girls at one show last year, with 2 bd1000s on a stock electrical system. So I said when you go into the lanes kick the e brake(shut off the lights) and give it some gas. At idle that trucks voltage hit rock bottom when it burped.
