upgrade the "big 3" under the hood (wires). Search it on the forum and you'll find tonnes of info on it. That'll do a bunch for ya. A cap won't solve the issue, just be something mroe for the alt to charge. A better battery wouldn't hurt, or a bigger alt, but for the sake of saving money definitely do hte wires first. Thats fairly cheap.

See http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/onli...-frontier.html for a long winded answer.

you dont have enough juice on tap. the car is a mx3? not a big alternator, or a very quick discharging battery. the draw might change depending on how you wire up the amp and the current it draws. most amps draw more at a lower voltage i.e. 13.8V is 500W rms ar 32 amps, ans 12.8 480Wrms at 29 amp draw, those are just emamples and prolly not real numbers of one single amp but you get the idea. invest in a batcap!, just google a batcap or run an auxilary yellowtop.

now after reading that link, does it really work that well?

I'm probably going to do that on my car and my brothers at end of the month However my question is. Will that help the light dimming?! increasing the power flow, will increase the drain flow.. im on line 8guage wiring LOL!!! but im re-wiring the entire car for the type-r's... Also can you suggest the guage of wiring i should use for 2 type-r 10". And keeping in mind i will be connecting 6x6 6x9 components within the next few months to it as well so i will have another amp for my speakers. and i have no idea how big that will be lol
wiring depends on amp size, a new battery will help the dimming a bit.
a factory battery is not ment for really quick dischraging.

wiring depends on amp, generally 8 guage is around 500W rms
4 guage was 800Wrms i wanna say.. and im not sure what 0 is good for, if it can run over 100+ amps i would say 100+ amps is about 1500W rms...??? dont quote me on that lol
