2 cubes.

well iv decided to use 3 kicker comp VR 12", 6 cubes, ported @ 32hz, any suggestions for an amp around 1200W?...or maybe 3 400W amps and power them all seperately so i wouldnt get a weird ohm rating.

 

Ive got three 12s runnin off a kicker kx 1200.1 and they SLAMMMMM!
I was told by the guy at the shop the these subs ported dont really sound much different then sealed.
Mine are sealed 1 cft per sub and the just pound.
Cant see out of any of my mirrors when there pumpin!

 

maybe ill try 4 CVR 12's with 1500W's, 4 cubes sealed...theres an idear.

 

surprizingly, kicker doesn't have a 1500W amp.

I can either use a kx1200.1

or two kx850.2's (1700W)

which amp would be best for 4 cvr 12's? i'd like 1600W...

 

or i mean, whatever 1500W amp i want..i'd like to stay w/kicker tho,...i might even use a whole kicker install.

 

The 1200.1 is underrated its more like 1400-1500
Trust me 4 cvrs off that amp with rattle the bolts loose on youre car!

 

i plan to put this install in a civic hatchback.

i'd like to either use 4 CVR 12's or 2 adire tempest 15" or 2 kicker L7 15"...which would be overall better?

four tempest 15", sealed 8 cubes, 1500W amp

 

Seems youre having some trouble making up youre mind?
