how is the latch or licence plate shaking? those shouldnt be a problem since there not lose / moving parts.
they will "shake" .. do they rattle or make noise? if so maybe the use of brownbread or dynamat would do the trick?
check out www.b-quiet.com
hope that helps.

Learn how to spell.
For the license plate, try using all 4 holes (if they aren’t used already), and make sure the screws are in tight with washers. Also I would use a piece of adhesive foam as a damper between the plate and the body of the vehicle. I am not too sure about how to cure the trunk latch.

for the trunk, unbolt the latch on the car side, move it down approx half an inch, then tighten it. it may screw up your trunk height lines a tiny bit, but the trunk will close harder, and it will help alot. when you go to sell the car, just move it back up to correct the lines if it is a big deal.

One word.......
URETHANE!!!!
LBKC and I used 2 tubes of urethane on the underside of my trunk lid in the Sunbird to reduce rattling...
Man..you should see the thing...I can jump on this thing and get no flex in it now...and trust me,I'm not a small man either...
we then used urethane anywhere else we could....taillights,body moldings, etc etc...
I would say it reduced the rattling by about 80% or more...
And like Orion said, also readjusted the trnk latch...
Good Luck!!

You could try that..
If the rattling is minor, try to add some mass to the plate using brownbread or b-quiet extreme (www.b-quiet.com). You can also try rubber spacers of some kind that have a little play. Also, try to avoid licence plate covers that are held on loosely, as the hard plastic shakes like crazy. I retrofited my licence plate to use four bolts instead of two, and added deadning to the back of it, as well as some thin rubber washers which almsot totally eliminates the ratling.
