Hey, wondering whether any of you would recommend the Boston Acoustics ProSeries 10.5LF? I can get 2 of these in a custom made enclosure made to specifications for about $340 Canadian.

What do people have to say about these in terms of sound quality and bass hits?

 

Looks like they have a good review. I remember looking at these to buy some years ago. Is this still a current sub? Some of the reviews I looked at are about 5 years old. Used subs lose their value quicker than amps. If they're new or newer it's still a good deal. Spec boxes would probably cost half what you're paying for.

To be honest with you not too sure. But they owner says that they are in very good condition and says they have been used for about 2 years.

 

Subs that have been used for 2 years could have taken quite the beating. Have they been powered properly? Who were they installed by and were amps tuned by someone who knows what their doing? Is the guy selling them a basshead? When dealing with used car audio if your buying used you gotta really do your homework.
