first, what's your budge?
2nd you have to decide what configuration you want...4.1 channel with front and rear speakers with subwoofer, 2.1 channel front no rear speakers with sub, no sub system, etc...
3rd prioritize needs and wants, and then start looking for what will fit in your budget and your car.
4th start shopping or go to reputable shop and explain what you want and what you want to spend, or if you're installing yourself...start designing you system and shopping for the appropriate equipment.

i would do a pioneer double din AVH-X8500BHS - NEW! -2-DIN Multimedia DVD Receiver with 7” WVGA Touchscreen Display, MIXTRAX, Bluetooth®, HD Radio™ Tuner, SiriusXM Ready, and AppRadio Mode for iPhone® and Select Android™ Devices | sundown audio sax-125.4 for mids a saz1500 or 2500 for bass amp and two fi car audios q 10's. for mids and highs there are so many choices maybe some hertz HE 6.5 components. for the enclosure do a 3 cf tuned to 32 with 15 sq inchs of port.
get one upgraded battery under the hood and one for the trunk. also might want to get a alternator from Mechman Alternators, High Output Alternators, Built in the USA, Call 1-888-MECHMAN!
this should sound amazing and get loud and low. total cost should be around $4000 with batteries and alternator

This thing is cheap and a beast.

not a Boss audio fan personally.
to the OP, there are lots of variables. I would say 1 thing you need to start with...about $500 worth of sound deadener. that car is notorious for its thin metal and lack of sound damping. You also would want to invest in upgrading your charging system as the alternator tends to be weak in that car.
what makes front speaker/rear speakers/2 10" subs a "full system"? some of the best systems that exist only run front speakers and 1 sub. the only reasons to have rear speakers are if you have rear seat passengers or if you are doing video and need rear channels. good speaker placement up front will return great imaging and thus eliminating the need for rear speakers. This also frees up some budget to put towards the front speakers.
when it comes to amplifiers, the current trend is to go with class D amplifiers. they run cooler, draw less amps, cost less, and have a smaller footprint (relative to the power output). I am a bit old school and prefer class A/B amps. those are the opposite of class D in all of the previously stated parameters but produce much cleaner sound. when it comes to powering your subs Class D is fine as you wont hear the difference in bass notes, but for your mids and highs I like the A/Bs.
try to get out and listen to some stuff to find out what you like. Some people prefer metal dome tweeters, other prefer not because of the harshness. also, find the brands of speakers that you like, and play around with different brand stereos to see which ones have a menu that you like. some are easier to use than others.
If you decide on which speakers and deck you want we can suggest a few good amps that fit into your remaining budget.
