Hey i dont know if this the right place to put this but here goes

My 1998 civic has a Xenon HID H4 conversion, it just toasted a buld so I wanna buy a new pair of 6k's for it! Where is best(most reasonably priced) place to buy these? I also need the little metal hanger that goes across the back side of the buld as mine shot off when removing bulb and low and behold I caqnt find the damn thing!!

Any help or direction would be great

I ordered some 9006 bulbs from this place about 3 days ago.

Shop eBay Canada Store - Canada Auto Parts:: HID Xenon Replacement Bulbs, 50W HID Xenon Single Beam Kit

Thats stupid cheap I would be interested in trying some out.
My worry is I would loose my high beams and how would they work with daytime running lights (always on or off during the day?)

I bought my conversion kit from someone in the east end (407 and kennedy) for $100. My reason for buying the new bulbs is because i wanna go with a blue lighting theme, so 12000K low beams and 8000K fogs will be the new setup rather than the old 6000K bulbs i had in before.

With my vehical, it has a sensor that will auto turn on the lights. Instead of figuring out for days how to disable the DRL's i just put a piece of black tape over my sensor to keep the lights on at all times.

Just be sure to have the correct kit, and as a precaution, ALWAYS order the relay harness just in case...

you seem like you are fairly knowledgeable in this subject.
The relay harness bit is why I worry about the DRL's
I was talking to Daniel Stern (google him) and he had said that with DRL that a relay harness will not work and eventually burn out the relay.
any idea's?

Well, depending on the vehicle, you can just 'delete' the DRL by either a relay pin, or fuse. For example, on a 2005 Toyota Corolla, if you remove fuse #31, the DRL is deleted, so that the HID's will only come on when you turn them on.

If you can delete the DRL, you are fine and in the clear as you only have to use the plug and play.

From what I understand, when using a relay harness, its supposed to send full power to the ballasts whenever it is triggered on, by either the DRL or whatever. So I can't see why it would burn-out, unless it got shorted somehow
