Need some help

well im new here and i just got a new car.. or should i say, new to me car... its a 1995 nissan 200sx, anyways its still got the entire stock system and due to upgrades in technology i cant even listen to cd's or my ipod when in the car.

now for what i need help with. i was thinking of doing a complete overhaul little by little, and i have some ideas as to what im thinking of buying and other things im in the dark.

so far i know i want to pick up:
pioneer deh-6000ub deck
and a 10" alpine type r sub (im not looking for my car to pound bass like no end i just want it to have a little kick when im driving and listening to some music)

now as far as the rest of things go i have no idea.... what amp/component speakers should i get and keep in mind i'm still a highschool student so my funds arent unlimited like some...

i know people post threads like this everyday and from what i can tell you're all pretty helpful so im hoping you guys can be the same for me

That deck is a good choice, same with the sub, my advice is go to some stores with your cd and listen to some speakers and get the ones that you like and can afford. As for an amp if you want to keep it simple get a 4ch amp to run the whole system.

75 to 100watts rms per channel would be a good start for a 4 channel lol

a nice little infinity amp would give you pretty good sound quality out of whatever components you chose and your sub...they are quite well priced as well
