Need some help
#1
I just installed my 6.5" component speakers about 2 days ago, today I got them sounding great ect, but I forgot to put the grills on. So I'm getting out of my car and I lose my balance (low sitting car) and put my foot right into the center of my Alpine Type-X mids. I completely crushed the little cone thing in the center, but did not rip it. The rest of the speaker is fine, should I try to pull the crushed part back out or what?

Holy Crap ..
That made me laugh.
Sorry to hear about your bad trip.
I think your talking about either the dust cap or the phase plug.
I'm fairly certain a dimple in either will not effect the sound.
You might want to install either the speaker grills or some running boards.
Have fun,
