Question neons setup

this may not be completely with car audio
but after running my power cable for my amplifier
it wuz hell to get thru my firewall
and i sealed up the port that i went thru
and im trying to avoid going thru there again

im thinking about buying some neon stripz for under my seats and trunk
would it work
and be safe
if i hooked it up to that same power cable coming from the battery that runs my amp
or even to hook it up
to the wire that comez out of my cap
that way
it might save my car from not starting
if i have my neons running
while listening to music

It's like some bad poetry about car lighting

I wouldn't put true neon in there, it gets awfully hot. Get some LED's, and not only will it look better but it's safer too. And you won't kill your battery no matter how hard you try. You can wire those in to your audio distribution if you like, it's all 12V.

Use computer CCFL's.. run cool, like .05 amps load, 12v, they work good, come with a switch, dirt cheap.
