i need a new amp and set of subs, ive got 500 bucks to spend any suggestions?

 

$500 will get you one sub and one amp. if you want decent stuff, that is new. You have to take price of materials, and wiring into consideration. Im at almost 600 and i got my amp and sub off ebay for a total of 320 but after wiring and my line driver and the odds and ends it get to 500 and beyond really really fast, with out the line driver id be just under 500

 

it all depends on what he wants. Does he want it loud? Does he want it of good quality? Or does he want both? I can hook you up with a set of Rockford subs (2) and amps (2) with wiring and maybe a box. For under 500$. That would probably even include the shipping. All stuff is new.
