New to car audio systems. What do I buy!?

First of all I hope I posted this in the right section of the forum I apologize if I did not. I need some help picking a deck/ sub and amp. I am looking for the best bang for the buck. I am currently looking at these subs- Orion HCCA124(12 inch)
and the Re Audio Xxx12d2 12" 2,000 Watt Rms Rated (4000w Peak) Dual Voice Coil 2 Ohm Competition Car Subwoofer. I am looking for a loud and clean system. Please let me know what to buy- Thanks
I just want to know the best for the money up to a $2000 spending cap
Thank you very much!

Need some more info:

Maximum space you are willing to give up in trunk to make the sub box, Height, Width and depth.

How loud? Electrical upgrades tend to be needed on how much power you are going to need.

What type of music do you listen to and what exactly is your goal? daily driving ?

There are lots of options and you have a good budget, so give us some more info as possible....

I have a hard time believing that your factory speakers will keep up with that kind of subwoofer, especially running off deck power. Dont get me wrong, I am a supporter of adding a subwoofer to factory stereo to get it to sound 100x better, but the kind of subwoofer you are looking at will completely drain out any factory speakers running off deck power.

Reiterating what Sonic asked, what are your goals?

I have read around and bought an re audio xxx12d woofer. I am still in the market for a new deck and also an amp to power the woofer I bought. I will also upgrade my speakers all the way around and purchase a 4 channel amp to power them. I will have a box built to specs. I can fill my entire 1995 bmw 325i trunk with my box and room for the amps. What are the best materials to buy when building a woofer box?
As for my goals well I want a kick a** system. I'm looking for sound quality bass and speakers you can hear when the bass is really pumping. Thank you for responding to my questions. Dan

I listen to many genres of music. I like the woofer for mainly hip hop tho. I will be playing hip hop from all era's.
I am willing to buy a new battery, alternator and cap.
I want big power for a fair price. Thanks again

you have a lot of questions. take it slow and learn bit by bit. there are plenty of ways to spend 2k$
If you've bought an re xxx then your going to need to feed it 1500-2500 watts. making that power on stock electrical wont be happening. start with your basics. wiring and electrical upgrades first.

So in one day you went from knowing very little to buying your subwoofer. I guess I'm just a little confused. I have always had a plan before purchasing everything to make sure to have the right amps, wiring, and speakers.

Yeah, I did make a purchase rather quickly. How ever the woofer was recommended by a friend who knows whats going on. He has had many set ups over the years. I am on this forum for more opinions and to learn more about car audio for myself.
