New to everything
Hey, i own a VW Jetta and i really just want to have a decent system in it.
Unfortunatley i don't know much about car audio systems. I know of a couple name brands, but i don't know what would be best for me.
I dont' want anything insanely overpriced, but i do want to feal the system.
Any input you have, brand name, sizes, and any other information you could give would be awsome. (don't forget it is a VW Jetta, so nothing to big)
thx

A few qualifying questions before folks can start helping you:
- What is your budget?
- Do you want to replace your entire stock system or just part of it?
- If you want to keep part of your stock system, which part(s)?
- If its subs you want, how much room (say in inches L x W x D) are you willing to give up to a sub box?

All i'm really interested in at the moment is subs. Room is not an issue, im willing to go up to a 15" and i only wanna spend around $200. A looser bass would be cool, but i don't want to rattle the crap out of my car. What ever you guys can suggested would be awsome. I heard good things about bazooka as far as price and quality goes, but im still new to this. Any advice would be awsome.
Go to your local stereo shop and tell them what you're looking for and ask for a quote...
You have to start with a realistic budget and I don't think $200 is going to get you very far. You probably going to spend that alone on the wiring. RCA's, power, ground, speaker and fuse block...
