the amp will be for 1 Alpine Type R 12 dvc (havn't bought it yet, so it can be either the 2ohm or the 4ohm). It will be in a sealed box(I'm thinking 1 c in)

I am on a tight budget so these are the amps I came up with so far. I would like to give the sub at least 300rms watts:

-Alpine MRP-M350
-JBL 300.1
these are both abotu $125US on ebay.

Which of these would work best with the sub and if there are any others out there in the same price range, please do point them out!

thanks

I'm starting to think Kicker is sexy.
Like an older ZR240 or ZR360 might work for you.
KX 400.1 -- there is such a thing as that, right?

Concept CC-1252 would work for the Dual 2 ohm pretty good.

Cadence -- good reliable amps. Z5000 would do a Type R or 2 good.

PG XS/Tantrum series you can check out. I can't recall model numbers, so I'm no help.

Believe it or not, places in Van like SpeakerCity are so overpriced, it's pretty much worth it to spend 15 bucks on gas and come out to Abby or the Wack.
