New Fosgate Anniversary Amps
#1
Just curious if anyone's had a chance to see one and if they are actually even close to the old amp, or just a cheap marketing ploy to get old school RF fans to buy Fosgate again... thoughts?

I have one of the Punch 45 anniversary amps....they are basically retro heat sink design and new internals. There is very cool badging on the amps.
Right now there is only 2 of these amps in Canada.
They are limited edition and only approx 100 pieces of each model will be available in Canada.
These amps are more about nostalgia and celebrating the 25th anniversary of Rockford producing amplifiers.
If you want to see the 'new' wonder amp from Rockford, check out the T3002. It is proving to be the Punch 45 of the new millenium.
Cheers

Why would you want the old internals? You do know the new ones are better right?

back to the topic...
If I had the resources I would pick up a new P45. Hell I would pick up one of the entire line just to add to the collection

I mostly just wanted to know if the new punch 45 put out the huge power like the old ones did, like the old punch 40 rated at 20 watts x2 and could put out 250 watts bridged, cuz I was on the website looking at it, and the power ratings are really low, just like the old ones, so do they really put out the umph? And Dave, can't wait for the next issue to get here, PAS rocks!!!
