New guy needs some help
I am looking for a reputable shop in the GTA that can build me an enclosure for my RE SX12. I am new to this and know I would end up doing a half *** job if I tried making it myself. I am happy with my setup so far and can't wait to get my sub in I have an 08 Civic coupe if that helps anything. Thanks alot and for putting up with my noobness.

Link to that subwoofer. <<< Click.
According to the site, the optimum enclosure is 2ft^3, tuned to 33HZ. Which is exactly what I'm trying to make for the Eclipse 12" sub that's being shipped to me right now...
I'd look for someone on this site that can do it. You'll pay a little less, and probably end up with quality equal to what the shop can produce. There are a few guys that look like they know what they're doing.
Here's a link to my question on the same topic. http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/online/install-related/137281-34-hz-box-design-assistance-please.html#post435019
Maybe that's something that'll work for you too.

Thanks, Is there anyone in particular on this site I could ask to get a box built? The only thing with the SX12 is that it displaces more space than that sub you have.

Jalat might. JoeF - but he's not a very frequent user of the forum. Just hi-jack a thread, or start yourself another one asking someone if they'd build you one. Most might suggest a slot ported box, instead of the square mess I've designed. Since it accomplished the same thing, and is easier to build.
The only reason I elected to go with the square port was since I read its the next best thing after a round port.

If you end up looking for a shop in the GTA, check out Ultra Auto Sounds. Dundas 427 area. I've personally delat with them and sent numerous others there. Ask for Said (pronounced Si-eed) he own the place. Great guy, won't BS you. They've been around for 15+ years.
