New HU theres a question in here :)

well im not the type to just see something and buy it.. cause well... thats how you get in horrible debt. but today while meeting up with a buddy that worked at the dreaded future shop i was looking at a nice shiny JVC exad head unit and i said... thats a pretty nice unit and for 560 thats pretty good cause they MSRP for like a grand i think and he tells me... if i stick around he can get me one for 250... so i think for about 10 min and say... sure y the **** not

likely for a 5.1 setup, like in a home theater.
most home theater setups that have a sub, only use one cable. it's mono

You can either plug a solo mono like that into the left channel of a mono amp or you can split it with a Y connector. Either way, subs nearly always work in mono (1 channel) sound.

dude, theres 3 rca outputs anyways so just use one of those and then use the crossovers on your sub amp and your set

I had that deck.. Didnt really like it though. but ya i used a Y connector.that solved my problems.

eh its a lil late... i installed it already and well to go from a CDA 9856 to this... is well... pretty nice... i enjoy it and well i already installed my old deck in my GF's car...
