So far the reviews are good... very smooth response, not harsh or biting, the speakers sound like they're not even trying, even at high levels.

The imaging is about an 8 out of 10, the staging leaves something to be desired, and I'll be trying alternate tweeter locations in the near future, as my leg obscures the tweeter in it's current position. The staging is about a 6 out of 10 for the moment, but moving the tweeter should fix both problems.

 

Here's the final pics, I didn't spend too much time sanding or finishing, because they're pretty much temporary, as the car is pretty much temporary.

 

Time for a carpet shampoo.

Nice kicks.

 

BTW, they are painted in Xterminator sound deadener, inside and out.
