picked this amp up today off murilo for the new build in the new year going to be sticking with my mach 5 audio spl drivers, either just the 2 12"s but most likely will add 2 more and well this is just my dd fyi maybe might drive out to some comps but anywho need to start planning for electrical for this thing, currently have 2 runs of 1/0 from front to the back and have 2 redtops in the back, im thinking of adding another run or 2 of cable and will ditch the reds for some bigger g31s and looking to get a 250a dc or mechman alty. what are some good cheap batteries people have had good success with for a dd also another fyi sd spec says the amps max current pull is 800a. so lets here it everyone need some suggestions

Kinetik, NSB90, hawker, XS Powermaster, Optima. With that amp... I'd think about having at least 2 batts, more like 3-4. Your definitely going to need a few runs of wire to get the most out of it.

 

Very nice, it is good to see the amps in Canada... They are not afraid of the cold, haha.

Be sure to have some batteries close to the amp.

AGM batteries, they are all good.

 

well to start ive been talking with rob at dc power so i will be gettting a 270a alty max 150-170 a idle from him so that should help and i was thinking already probably need 5 g31s 4 in the back and one up front, just trying to find a good brand thats not stupidly priced, this is alll for daily might hit up a comp here and there just for fun and the batteries gotta hold strong through the winnipeg winters.
