So here's the deal...

This place I work at has this "rewards points" deal going...

Sell "such and such a product",you get "X" number of points....save them up,trade them in on stuff...clothes,gift certificates,vouchers,etc.....

So I sold and saved like a madman for a while till I had enough for a $100 A&B Sound G/C.....

And low and behold....THEY HAVE A SALE ON!!

So....Picked me up a pair of JBL GTO 525 5 1/4" 2 ways!!

45 watt RMS....135 Peak....SWEEEEET!!

Going to put them in the doors of Frankenstein!

Regular retail on these things was $160..because they are last years modeal,they then knocked them dwon to $111...THEN.....because they got down to their last 2 pair and wanted to clear them out,I got them for $83!!!and got about $11 cash back for the remainder of the G/C!

Is that a deal or what?Do my job,get speakers,and a tiny bit of cash out of it too!!

How sweet is that!!

Congrats on your new front stage speakers. I'm sure they will sound much better than what you had there before.

 

Actually.....I am planning to keep the dash speakers there for now.we'll see how it sounds and take it from there..
