So I have had 2 10's in my car and looking to upgrade to 2 12's but don't want to give up my whole trunk. Currently running last gen type r 10's. looked at type r 12's , RF P3's, c2 audio threatcon 2's

Suggestions on subs. Not looking to shake out tail lights but would like some sold bass

 

what kind of amp are you running and what is the maximum dimensions of your trunk? The only reason I ask about your trunk is 1 15" driver will require the same amount of airspace and might be a better alternative if you are not trying to chase numbers.

 

Right now I have an alpine pdk 1.600 but I have no problem upgrading if needed.

Not sure about trunk dimensions. I have a 2009 mazda 6.

I believe a 3.5 cubic ft box would take up about half the trunk
