Just finished putting in a new system in my daily driver using all used equipment. It consists of:

Alpine 7390 cassette deck
Alpine 5960 changer Rockford punch 4004 amp
PPI dcx 500.1
Infinity 6000cs comps up front
Infinity 6x9 rear
Infinity ref 1230w x 3

The 3 subs were put in a 5.2 cube vented(tuned to 28 hz) box. This system sounds amazing for a grand total of 955.00 cdn for everything except labour which I did myself and wiring which I have lots of. The PPI is rebuilt, the punch is just 1 year old and all the speaks are from local ebay stores in like new or rebuilt condition and the Alpine stuff is from a board member in excellent condition.

To those new in the car audio world -just shop around for good deals...they are out there and a lot of them are in the FOR SALE section.

By the way, the daily driver is a 2000 intrepid with a big **s trunk, I can still fit 4 suitcases and 2 carry-ons in there with that monster box.

Daily drivin' will never be the same.

That sounds like a huge trunk.

Why the cassette deck?
