Hello guys . Im totally new to car audio so i would like to get some ideas from pros . I would like to get a good setup for my VW Jetta . So i need some help here So lets go

1. Dual Subs - Alpine swr 12D4 12" or Skar audio VVX-12v2 D4 12" ?
2. Amp - i would like to go with 1 ohm . Which one you guys recommend for those subs ,what power rms ?
3. Front Speakers - ?
4. Amp for Front Speakers - ?

Please help me out im soo confused about everything . I just want the subs to hit hard and low and the front to be loud and clear . Thanks

 

Most everything will depend on your budget and goals

For your sub stage either option is good but personally im not a fan of skar based on the companies track record of its unethical practices and the owners dirtbag behaviour. That aside from a purely objective stance i know that the original vvx were great subs and would choose them if they didnt have skar written on them. Aside from your two choices I would instead get a pair of sundown sa-12s or obsidian 12s mated with a 1200-2000watt amp depending on your electrical capacity ( batteries, alternater, wire size)

 

Ok Thanks so i will go with pair of sundown sa 12 , but the question is where i can get them in Toronto Area ? Also what kind of amp do you recommend for them to hit rly low and loud ? 1500-2000 rms , but what kind of brand for a good money ? Also still the front speakers and amp for them left .
