came across some good speakers from a car i bought.
alpine 6.5 sps-600
focal 165v2 just tweets and crossovers.

when they were in the car i bought they were hooked up all together. didnt know if this was a good idea as the alpines are 2-ways.

just wondering from anyone if when i put these in my xB (which has tweeties in the dash, 6.5 in doors) if when i replace them should i go with the whole set up as it was in the honda. or no include the alpines and just hook up the stock pioneers to the crossovers. difference in sound is what im looking for.

 

hook it all up including the Alpines. Are the crossovers 2way or are they just for the tweet. If they are 2 way, they filter the highs out of the Alpines anyway, making them just a mid. If not, you can always disconnect the tweeter on the Alpines if you have too much high end.

 

awesome ill try that, i wouldnt mind them being a good mid. crossovers are 2way, i did notice when they were in the honda that there was an extreme amount of high end.
