That was pure poetry </font>
The only thing is. it takes 3 years to come up with a design to surpass the w7. </font>
They had the XXX which does 98% of what the W7 does for 1/3 of the cost.

The new driver should be very very nice.

That was pure poetry </font>
The only thing is. it takes 3 years to come up with a design to surpass the w7. In this industry not very many things have staying power like the w7. However all this is speculation untill a dumax or clippel verified test is posted.

The MTX 9500 was the "W7 Killer" a few months back, came out, was tested and still did not surpass its performance.

Until than its all old talk about the RE. Not doubting its abillity, however lets not put the cart before the horse.

</font>
Ok.. so it took 3 years to come up with a W7 killer.

Didn't the W7 take something like 5-6 years to develop? So someone did it in 1/2 the time

Btw.. I don't think I've ever seen anyone say the MTX sub is a W7 killer except for MTX.

I'm hearing that RE has found a way to bump the Xmax even further.......over 50mm!! IMPRESSIVE!!!

The best sounding drivers my ears have ever had the pleasure of listening to are the RE XXX drivers/IDmax's/TC Sounds LM Technology/dub7's. Honestly my ears tell me that the IDmax's & TC Sounds LM Technology sound the best!

Now on the SPL side of things.....if I were to get back into competeing I would use Digital Designs.
