Nissan S15 sub setup....

Hi guys,
I got a Nissan S15 and I wanted to set up some subs I was thinking 2 or 3 kicker L7 10” square ones, the thing is I need all the room I can get in my trunk and was imagining about mounting them behind the seats and facing them into the cabin and use the trunk for a box I know its going to shake the panels to bits so I have to plaster it with sound deadening but my biggest question is: is it possible will this work efficiently?

Cheers

I dont know if you have enough air space to put two 10" L7's in that car
Just to let others know, the car he has is basically a 240sx (expect much better looking and with a much better engine then the ones we got)

Two or three subs = one big box. If you need trunk space that is not the way to go at all. One good sub in the proper box is all you will need.

The L7 10's only need .66FT^3 sealed.
But ya, one good sub in a good box will be all you need.
Sub bass is one of those things, you want bass - you gotta lose space.
Want the space, not so much bass.

Here is a photo: I was just going to run them free air and use the trunk as a box, I have seen it done before but with 2 15’s in a commodore and it worked quite well. A single 10” L7 requires about 35 to 63 litres for a ported box and 18 to 28litres for a sealed box. I think there is a chance of it working I’m just deciding 2 or 3 10” L7’s?

So not being able to use your trunk is ok?

The L7's won't run propperly free air.
You'll also need to do a lot of work to do a proper IB setup.
There are subs that will do very well in an IB setup.
I say do a proper box and a good sub and you'll have plenty of bass.
