No treble?

Hey whats up names Justin and I'm from Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. I have a '91 Jeep cherokee. (Sorry horrible spot for an intro)
My problem is that my 6x9's are only picking up my bass notes (seems like sub channels on back of the deck?) I have the RCA's running from what is labelled rear audio on the back of the deck into the amp. Is my amp only meant for subs? Or am I missing something.

Speaker amp:

and the speakers being powered are 2 infinity 6x9's http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/infinity-infinity-reference-6-x-9-2-way-car-speaker-9622i-9622i/10092162.aspx?path=a53e698adb82d7febbcef80906dbafc fen02
Thanks
Justin

In the menu on the Sony there is a setting to change the second RCA out from sub to rear. It needs to be on rear. Check your manual to find out how exactly. Also check and make sure the amp isn't set to LPF... It should be on HPF. Also, make sure that... umm... I'll call it a dial... the frequency "dial" is set to a proper freq. Something like 120Hz for example.

that's a mono block, designed for sub use only ...if you check the specs it says next to frequency response...20-85 hz...that means it only plays signals up to that cut off point. You need a full range amp.
