this should be a quicky for some of you boys.

basically, i remove and reinstall my stereo alot and a while back i starting getting this noise so i took the stereo out but now that it is back in i want to get rid of the noise... here it is:

the noise is just a high pitch hum coming from the passenger component speaker.

when i rev the engine, even in neutral, it gets louder.

even i take the deck face of is still happens.

where should i start the troubleshooting?

thanks

Relocate the passice crossover for the components to outside of the vehicle. noise goes away there's you problem, if it remains, start back tracking your speaker wires from source to end.

Is your passenger side x-over near your systems power wire? Did accidently punctured your passenger side component speaker wires with a screw?

Are you using the factory speaker wires? if so, avoid them, they may be picking up radiated noise from DC wires nearby. and usually too thin a guage for the power provided.
You may also want to have your charging circuit tested, especially if you hammer on your system a lot.

no all the wiring is new.

the crossover is on the door a few inches away from the power wire running under the carpet. but it was always set up like that and didnt start being ghey until i started fiddling with the amps.
