Question Noise damper/barrier question for cars that get undercoated

Has anyone had any experience in northern climates (northern U.S. or Canada) with installing noise damper/barriers on vehicles that have been undercoated to protect against rusting? I get mine undercoated every year with Krown and it's in the trunk, trunk lid, doors, etc. I understand that I would have to clean this off the surfaces for installation, but will it put up with annual resprays without disintigrating, sagging, turning to mush, etc.?? I'm just getting ready to do a new install on my Camry and don't want to spend the money and time if it's going to turn to crap. Thanks.
