Well, for the last month or two (on and off) 00civic and I have been working on my trunk install in my 01 civic. We are at the point we can say "almost" complete. The only thing we have holding us back is the elevating mechanism for the rear "deck" (as can be seen by mike's hand helping out). Here are some pictures, we hope you enjoy.

That's a nice install! Cool looking amp rack, it fits real nice.

There's just that little wrinkle where the sub meets the floor.

Beauty work.

Flush the sub and Pioneer amp on the sides and make a trim piece for the rack.

Bzz,

Looks great. I notice you live in New Brunswick. If you ever get to the Bangor, ME area, it would be cool to check out systems. I drive a 98 Civic(mids in the floor, tweets in the doors).

Perry: My US buddy .. I might have a need to come down soon, my XM micro antenna doesn't seem to be working and I need to replace it at Best Buy.. I am stuck riding around with my old Terk SR2- big and bulky. Thanks.

Fever: the floor is going to get a 1/8in MDF board that will be covered with the same carpet, the "wrinkle" you see is actually the factory carpet folded to fit flush.

HardWrkr: what do you mean by trim piece?

Oh yeah.. and we put the AVH-P6500DVD in the front with a Pioneer drop down screen for my little one in the back seat...PS2 under the front passenger seat for her too.

yes I am pretty happy with the way the install turned out. Just a bit more work and we should have it done. And yes the floor will be changed so that factory carpet does not have that wrinkle. We are just limited to so tight space.

a trim peice is defiantly something I have pondered over this install. I think once we get the actuator I will look at that option. What do you think Brangwyn. It's your car I am just helping you with the install.
