i have a ZR360 and its not doing so well

when i had it in the truck it worked fine IF the gain was all the way down (pushing Koda's) but if i tried to turn up the gain its poping and snaping (bad pot??) i took it out of the truck and used a spare batt to test it (used a diskman) pushing a 4ohm sub and it sounded like i had pluged the sub into the wall

anyone care to take a swing at the problem?

thanks
Joe C.

sounds like it could be a ground problem. make sure you have a good ground and you're grounded to bare metal.
