Smoked tail lights aren't that rice. Its worse when you smoke the headlights as then you're actually impeding their functionality just for it to look better.

I still like the dark tail light when it is part of a external theme... better than those fake chrome tail lights on the half assed builds that will be so '2005' very soon

I actually tried, on my old set of headlights, and it came out really well. I did something special though. I hit the headlight with the spray as it was still wet from the rubbing alcohol. it gave it a much more uniform look than the spotty look it gives straight out the can.

Only problem is that it looks kinda green. It still emits a great deal of light (8000K HID) but the tint just seems off. Not a true 'smoke' color

You'll get more light output alone switching to 4300K-6000K hids. I hope you retro fitted projectors in your car, or something of the sort. For everyone else you share the road with, especially with 8000K hids.

retro's are in the works. i'm trying to find a good set.

as for my headlights, they are aimed correctly and do not effect anyones rear views. only thing that will bother you is if you look directly at me when i pass by.

I plan on doing 12000K low beams and fogs as the 8000k i have are boring
