nice choice on subs, my buddy took advantage of the new price too lol. I know you don't need to be told this, but make sure you have the right enclosure. We threw it in a pre fab box with like a 3/4'' port and it sounded like the sub was choking on the air that wasn't making it out of the box. free air was much better than that crappy box, as bad as it may seem. but it looks like I've gotta get my stuff in order to make this new 39.9 club
No kidding.
HAHA no worries I dont mind the random talk, it'll keep people interested

Hmmm, Mike's epic build. Should be interesting bro. Kicks are looking good. I don't think I have enough room to make kicks in the Marquis. Door design should be interesting to say the least. I thought you sold the HID's?

Productive day. Was able to do the mold on the drivers side kick pod which was more intricate than the passenger side. Also got the passenger side mocked up and tacked in place
The hardest part was trying to see if i could fit the mid in without having to sacrifice the pedal e-brake. After many tries, it turned out that if i were to keep the e-brake the mid would have to be much lower than where i would want it, and would look very uneven from the passenger side so i said eff it, as i never use the e-brake anyways (except for D1 drift events during the winter)
As for the passenger side, it was easy. Much more room to work with, so position the mid was not as difficult. Finding the right position was a matter of where and how i wanted to point it towards the drivers seat
Tommorow i'll try and pickup some fleece and maybe get a layer of resin on depending how busy i am.
Word of advise:
DO NOT waste your time buying Bondo fiberglass resin from Canadian Tire. My local fiberglass store was out of resin so i decided not to wait and buy the Bondo brand. IT WAS HORRIBLE! The consistancy was thicker than peanut butter and set time was too quick for my liking (using the proper amount of hardener) Not worth the $18 what so ever

Got the passenger kick pod about 80% finished today. Went ahead and got some yellow fleece from Fabricland for only $5 per meter yesterday which was a great deal.
Got a quick coat of resin only down on the fleece late last night which soaked through nicely. Then gave it a quick 60 grit hand sand, and continued with another resin only layer this morning. Once cured, I hit it with 60 grit again and put down my first layer of mat and resin.
Once the glass dried, did a nice 60 grit sanding and then hit it with the body filler.
After letting the filler dry about 80%, I started hitting it with the 60 grit by hand. After knocking down a good amount of filler by hand, I then hit it with 80 grit which is where it stands now. I will most likely do one more coat of body filler tommorow as there are still some areas that need to be lifted. Eventually the kick pods will be covered with carpeting, so i'm not too worried about having a perfect finish.
