ok money spending time... help me decide...

k I have a ford fusion,f90bt(POS), focals 165 in front, premiers 6x8s in back, all getting 100w ish each...sounds frikin awesome to me...after I was taught not to use the loudness control set to high(you know who you are lol)...... sound deadened my front doors and my trunk lid.... now on to my question....
I have 2 kicker comps from 5 years ago that are 8 ohms wired in parallel in a sealed box that's about 5 years old as well... I have those powered by a Kenwood 729s giving 300w rms..... now... I stole the sub amp combo from my wifys car and she wants it back .. lol. I knew I was not going to keep it long so I got the car ready for something bigger ,,, 0 gauge is run, big three is done.. , now I want to go with a 1- 12" setup with a amp to push it... I have a guy here who can build me a box the way its supposed to be built for the sub.(you know who you are again...).. now on to your suggestions.... but I don't want to upgrade alt, I have a fully loaded car so its probably a big one already.. maybe 120amps,,, anyways..will 1 12 hit harder and louder than what I am used to with the 2 kickers... and OH PS.. I have 1000$ to spend on the sub and amp.... box will be in a separate budget... thanks guys..

A ported single 12" SSA Icon (or similar from DD,AQ...) will be louder with the right power and box.

how about 2 RE SE with an orion 1200d

or

a pair of L7 12inch kicker subs with an orion 2500d?

or

4 re se with an orion 2500d! lol!! and if you need i got a kinetik hc600

since you have the big 3 done (even the wire from the alt to the battier) you shouldn't have to upgrade any alt! lol!!

talk to me and see what we can make happen lol!! all those idems are under 1k! (most being like 875ish)
