is it ok to power my jl 12w3v1's with a PG x400.1 ?

will this amp do a good job for me? or would it really be best to go with the x600.1 ?

im assuming the x600.1 is more then enough since my subs are rated at 250rms a piece. but im not sure if giving them less then 500rms using the x400.1 is a bad move or not.

thanks for the help guys

i just want to be sure that its a good amp, and will give my subs enough power.

It's only a problem if you turn your gains too high (clipping) to try to get more power out of your amp. As long as the gains are set right you won't harm anything.

the xenon amps are pretty good..i have the x600.1...i love it...i think u would like the x600.1 more cuz ive seen some single w3s put 600rms into them....
but the 400.1 would be fine
