Here is one for Sux2bu or DUKK. I picked up a a pair of RFP1408 8" subs, and was wondering what might be recommended for box sizes. RF recommend .3 sealed, and around .7 vented each, any thoughts on this? Thanks.

MMMMMMMMM 8" subs. Now I can't wait to go home and play with my Cerwin Vega Xl *s now.

What do you plan on using them for Ross?

Those are nice littlel subs. Always liked those. Go with the vented recommendation and they'll pump nicely.

Thanks guys for the info. Zach I am not sure yet, I have a problem, it is called audio addiction. I see a cool looking amp or sub and I can't help myself. The first step is admitting you have a problem, right?

For sure, I need a vehicle with some much deeper, and stronger doors though, these suckers are pretty heavy. 8mm xmax, not bad for an 8 year old sub.

I just hooked these up tonight. I had an old box around here, 1 cube for the pair tuned to 36hz, slot port, off of a Punch 100x2 at 2 ohm mono, wow! Tight bass, sounds kick-***.

^^^ For sure Paul, could I unhook the second one and leave it in to fill the hole? Maybe as a quasi-passive radiator? Too bad I drive a Yj, no room.....
