Most of the Kicker lineup has a new look and when you see the whole line the cosmetics all compliment each other. I think it was old one eye who said "If you can't build it right, chrome it" and I believe that is true to a degree but that doesnt mean that everyting that is shiny is crap or lacks performance.
Wait till you see the Solobaric 10 & 12. The new mids and highs with their cool grills look awesome as well.

The bad thing about all the new cosmetics is that the customer has to pay for it like it or not the new 04 L7 is actually a bit more then the old one and its all because the new look
personally i liked it better before it was a bit cheaper and its gonna sound the same
