which one is better
#1
these are both 5 1/4 speakers
the pioneer ts-g13117
or
fosgate hpc2205
they both put out 120watts.
butthe pioneer says 4 wit that funny circle thing
and the fosgate says 4 ohms
i'm thinking that the funny circle thing means the same as ohms.
but i noticed that the fosgate has a bigger magnet and the pionner has a smaller one, does that matter.

As for putting out 120 watts... that is their peak music power handling... so a little 30 to 75 watt amp should be sufficient to run them.
Now about size of magnet... size does matter... to a point. The magnet is basically the motor of the speaker but you have to take into account design and what its made of.

i think anyway?
and lumina_kid, no speaker PUTS OUT any power, they can handle that amount of power being given to them.
