i bought two 12' type r subs, 2 ohm............haven't installed yet or bought an amp yet. was wondering if this would be an ideal amp to run these two subs. http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/product...odel=MRD-M1005 just want to buy all the right stuff before i go get install because i can get everything cheaper online.

 

you mean dual 2 ohm each, right? If so, then wired properly( 2+2 series=4, 2+2 series=4...4+4 parallel=2 ohm, can be done the other way also, 2+2 parallel=1, 2+2 parallel=1...1+1 series=2) they will yield a 2 ohm load mono which is just right for that amp, and will power the subs properly.
