Question

I was checking out cardomain for some capacitors and they didn't have what i needed so i googled around and found http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/ Has anyone ever bought from this sight? I mean, is it realiable? They got some great deals on capacitors and I definetly need a bigger cap. If you guys haven't heard of the sight, do you got any suggestions where i can find some cheap 1.2-2 farad caps?

they are a pretty reliable site. you need to be check with availability of product thought; they have had problems in the past where you place the order, they charge, but don't have product available for a few months down the road. of course, you don't find out until you call wondering where the hell it is

regardless, consider other options beyond a capacitor. big 3, alternator, battery; these are all changes/upgrades that i feel you should consider before buying a capacitor.

crud, and i don't know if i should get the 2 farad or save $15 dollars and buy the 1.2 farad. You guys think 1.2 farad would be plenty for a 1300Wrms amp? (lol, i am plump full of questions)

Lanzar caps are as good as any other... Here's a secret (well not so much secret) there are only (i believe) 1 or 2 factories in the WORLD that have the capacity to produce a 1 farad or larger capacitor... and they both use the same design and materials.

caps serve one big function: to look cool. that's about it.
