Opinion on front door speakers?

well... I will be upgrading... but I'm in school and all my money's going to that right now... i need an opinion... I will be buying all kicker speakers/subs/amp.
at this time i have 2 kicker KS525's 5 1/4" for my rear speakers, and stock for the front... but of course that will change. The KS525's have been discontinued... but i don't want them for the front anyway... I'm trying to decide on what kicker 5 1/4" i want for the front. KS56.2? RS56.2? KS502? or the KS5250?(which would be the uptodate version on the KS525's i already have. I am looking for more of a midbase speaker... I'm not the brightest guy on the world but i can figure stuff out but would someone tell me exactly what the crossovers do that come with the KS56.2 and the RS56.2?

so... if someone could give me their opinion on this that would be awesome!!!

THX

The crossover "seperates" the signal so the tweeter only gets the high frequencies and the woofer gets the rest.

... ok that clears that up... but still doesn't clear up my first question... and the KS525's that i bought had small crossovers in it so it seperated those sounds.

Best bet isn't to buy based on pictures and specs. go to a shop and listen to the sets and go from there.
