opinion on new system brand

I recently bought a new car, a 2000 Honda Prelude. All of my previous systems were peice togethers of whatever i could get a good deal on. I'm doing an entire system, including a deck, not a screen(been there done that) 6.5" component fronts, 6x9" rears, 4 channel, and a monoblock. I throwing up 3 possible options right now:

Alpine: likely type S speakers, and type R woofers, with the matched V12 amps. and a high end alpine deck.

Rockford: Power series speakers, and amps, wiht T1 subs.

Kicker: possibly 8" or 10" L7's with ZX series amps.

I'm looking for mostly SQ but i want it to get up there and hammer at the same time. Throw out some model numbers and brands, i wanna hear some ideas.

If you went Rockford, I'd say get Power Subs, because they are actually DECENT subs.

From the opinion of someone who was heard all 3 brands in action, I'd say go Alpine for SQ.

For source units I would look at Eclipse or Nakamichi.

All solid brands, you should have no problems with any of them, and they can all sound great if set up properly.

I've had great luck with Kicker sub/amp combinations in my past few cars. I'm still going to be using to KX amps in my new install as well actually.
