Opinions/Advice for 97 Cadillac Deville System

I'm buying an 850w V power Alpine amp, two 12" DB Polk Audio subs in a black fabric carpet covered box, everything is in good condition and comes with receipts, all for $250.

In the box there are two Alpine type R with V12 Alpine monoblock amp 2/1 channel.

Wondering if anybody can verify that I'm getting a pretty unreal deal? Also just looking for tips and advice when I'm installing it. I've heard facing the box inwards helps reduce rattling, if there's a certain type of deck and wiring I should buy, or if the 850 watt amp is enough to power the subs, just things like that.

Would appreciate any feedback considering I'm pretty new. Thanks.

Without knowing the model of the amp or the voicecoild configuration of the subs, I'm making a couple assumptions.
The subs HAVE to be able to be wired to a 4ohm load. Multi-channel amps are designed to be run at 4ohm mono unless specifically stated.
Also, I don't know if the amp has high(speaker) level inputs, so you may need a high-low (RCA) level converter for audio input to your amp. If that's all you're running, a 4 guage amp kit would suffice. Consider running "the big 3" if you get any light dimming but with a big car like that, you may get lucky and not need to with that power.
