Question Opinions---Kenwood KAC9130D Amp??

Hey everyone. Found an amp for my subwoofer, the 15 inch Mmats ProCast, rated at 700 RMS with a DVC and 4 ohms. The amp is a Kenwood KAC9130D, rated at 500 RMS ohms and 1000 max at 4ohms. What do you guys think of this amp, in general, to run this SPL based Sub? Just looking to get some opinions and feedback, see what everyone thinks. From what I've heard, it's an excellent dependable amp, with a well rated power output (Not overrated), and should be excellent to drive this sub. Leave me your opinions, they are very appreciated!

9103D does 900wrms into 2 ohms.

Your DVC 4 ohm sub will be a 2 ohm load when you wire the coils in parrallel.

I've heard good things about those amps.

I am thinking of same amp too for my IDQ 15", will be running it on 1 ohm load as it bein 1 ohm stable,is this amp worthwhile putting on to IDQ,
WILL IT DO JUSTICE WITH IDQ 15"?
Most Important of all do it give out the rated power, most of the people say it's highly over rated amp!!!!!!
Cheers!!
I am on a budget, moreover my ears are not that good to hear a difference between two different amps on a sub

Although that amp says it's 1 ohm stable, read the specs carefully. Notice you don't get much more power at 1 ohm than at 2.
They reason is that is doesn't really have enogh power supply stability do do any good at 1 ohm.
I'd say the IDQ would need a better amp to do it justice.

Hello,

I have the Kenwood KAC-X1R and it is fantastic. If you want to go Kenwood look at the Excelon amps. The price is still pretty affordable. The amp has tight sounding bass and made a pair of cheap subs sound really good.

Cheers
