It seems that 1 10" Pioneer TS-W2502D2 has found it's way to my doorstep. I was thinking about using it as a modest setup in my winter beater. I would be powering it with 500rms in a ported box tuned to 38hz.

Opinions? good or bad. I couldn't find much in the way of reviews online.

Oh, and most certainly did not pay $399 as suggested by Pioneer

we shall see about the quality / output. If it's lacking and sounding crappy I have other options to use. As for the box it's a Q logic that I had laying around. If I feel that the sub sounds good I may experiment with other boxes/tuning. I have never used pioneer subs before to know whether they suit my tastes.
