A friend of mine has two of these amps , he will only use them on his front speakers , for his sub(s) he will be useing a Soundstream Class A10.0 amp .

The Continuum is a 5-channel amp which is rated at 4*50W+1*200W @4ohm and 12V .
Bridged it will give 2*200W+1*400W ( 2*200W @4ohm mono and the 400W is rated at a 1ohm load , all at 13.6V ) .

These ar good amps , the SQ is good and they are underrated , but if you realy push the amp to it's limit ( sub channel into a 1ohm load ) you can have a problem with the power supply .

I was looking at a Soundstream Class A 10.0 for my front stage and have decided against it.

They seem to have gone down hill when they were first bought out (around the same time they came out with the Airbass keychain remote).
Too bad cause they're just so sexy looking.

I currently have a rubicon 805, same power specs as the cont. amp. i've had no problems with it. and for 850 its a smokin deal. my amp new way almost $2300.
i bought my amp in 99 and its been great.
even at at 1 ohm on the sub-channel i'm not having any power suppy issues.
i'm running 50X4 on the front and rear (soundstream exact 6.3's) and 400x1 on 4 jl10w0s.
i will soon be running 200x2 on the fronts and no rears, just have to build my kicks.
i love my soundstream stuff.
