Does Optima make different sizes of these batteries? I was looking to buy an Exide Orbital, but they do not fit my car.

Thanks,

Lawrence.

Yes, Optima does. I just bought a Yellowtop over the winter for my Integra which has a small *** battery.

You should call Optima directly and see if they make one.

Car is a Mustang...Optima U.S. said that a Yellow Top D34 will work, however, I have also heard that I need a hold down kit...Optima said nothing to me about a kit...

A hold down kit.... TFI

If all they mean is a strap to keep the battery down (like I have stock in my Integra), I would think that most cars have one already... if not, it sure wouldn't be too expensive...

I'd ask Optima. See what they say about it.

Talked to some Mustang guys with yellow tops...apparently, Costco sells the required clamps with the batteries...and yes, it is just a small piece of plastic...

So, it looks like after ALL of this, I am getting a yellow top.

Thanks for all the help.

Lawrence.
