orion 2500d help puhleasee

k soo tuesday i had the pleasure to meet with mark at mach 5 audio and we chatted for a bit and what not and he told me he would sell me his orion 2500d amp for 325$ i told him id probly be interested and id have to let him know later i did some searchin and people have had decent reviews on another audio forum. mark told me that running the amp at 4 ohm would fit nicely for my ixl put 1200rms to it, and then down the road when i get another ixl or a spl run it at 1 ohm for 2500rms. so that sounds perfect for me. but my questions is whats peoples opinions here about the amp on the other forum i posted a thread about if id be satisfied and they said no, and id have to run it down to 1 ohm on my sub which is 2.5 times more then it can handle, im going to be sellinging my piece of sh** mb quart tomorow and ill have money for the amp should i buy? also he said the amps in perfect shape i trust him on his word

For 325, if you don't get it, I will! JK, I love my Sundown 1500. The older ones are sick, put out rated power for sure. You could always run your sub @ 1 ohm, but you would need to be super conservative on your gains. I'd go for it if I were you.

I had bought two on this forum from other members and I loved them. I would reccomend one in a heart beat. I think I paid 500 and 550 for mine, so 325 is an awesome deal.
My only problem with them is that they are power hungry. They take two 4awg power and 2 4awg grounds to run per amp. I'm sure that you already know this but make sure that the big 3 are done or you will see blue sparks coming from your grounds in your engine bay.

It takes power to make power, so keep 'em fed and you won't be disappointed.

You'll have no problems at all with only useing one power and one ground. The reason I say this, is from what I read you wont be comming close to maxing that amp for now. Otherwise I wouldn't recommenced it. (the worse that will happen is that the wires will run over spec, and the insulation will melt/cause fire)
The reason for the 2 connections is so that you dont have to use zero or double zero wires. Using 2 4awg accomplishes the same thing.
