Orion amp help needed.
I bought my Orion 1200D from a member 4 years ago but I didn't get the spec sheet with it. When I look at the Orion site it rates the 1200D at the following.
Model Number HCCA-D1200
Max Power 1200
4 Ohm Rating 250 x 1
2 Ohm Rating 400 x 1
1 Ohm Rating 600 x 1
Is it safe to say my older 1200 is putting out the same power?

The Orion amp model numbers have changed. Your amp is now the equivelant of the HCCA2400 model (although your 2ohm rating is slightly different).
Power ratings for your amp at 13.8vrms are:
425x1@4ohm
725x1@2ohm
1200x1@1ohm
Realistically most of these 1200D's with average vehicle voltage would average in the 1350-1400rms at 1ohm.

those numbers he found arnt for your amp, there for the HCCA2400 model wich now is the new "equivilant" to yours. except it probably wont do what yours is capable of. the chrome orions were awsome amps. your specs right from orion were basically that of the HCCA-D1200 doubled. so basically
4 Ohm Rating 500 x 1
2 Ohm Rating 800 x 1
1 Ohm Rating 1200 x 1
thats the ratings from the factory, but the amps infact produced more like 1300+ at 1 ohm. you can probably email them for a spec sheet from that amp, im sure thye have it on record somewhere. but that is your specs

haha, my bad dude, i just got from what you typed that that was the specs for the HCCA-2400...my bad, i miss read. its all good tho.
