I have a pair of old orion extreme 800's and I was wondering if anyone knew what kinda power they make? The manual says 800w x 1 @4ohms... I dont kno if thats rms or peak??? if anyone knows your response will be appreciated

200x2 @ 4ohms, 400x2 @ 2ohms, 800x1 @ 4ohms bridged.

Cool.. they are only around 45-50% efficient though. a 1200Wrms class D amp would draw the same power for more output.

 

they are actually going in my buddies 04 eclipse, he has had the amps for awhile and just bought a pair of L7's... I just finished drawing up the box, not as much room as I would have liked tho. Only could squeeze 4.3 cubes out of it and it will be tuned to 38hz... sound about right?

 

4.3 cubes external?.. with port and sub displacement that's about 3.2cubes.. should work.. it's on the small side though

 

no... thats internal after all displacement.. port had to be really long so there was almost 2 cubes of displacement there port is 80in2 and 25in long.. woofers will be inverted on top of the box so there will be no displacement from them... so internal volume after all displacement is 4.3ft3 and there are 80in2 of port

 

should be really loud...that's a good size port .
